📦 Orders & Shipping
How long does it take to process my order?
- Local orders (South Africa): 1–2 business days.
- Print-on-demand (global store): 2–7 business days before shipping.
How long does delivery take?
- South Africa: 1–4 business days via The Courier Guy.
- International (Print-on-Demand): 5–15 business days depending on your location.
Will I get a tracking number?
Yes. Once your order ships, you’ll receive tracking details so you can follow it all the way.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes — our global store ships worldwide using our print partner, Printify.
🔁 Returns & Refunds
Can I return a product if I change my mind?
No. We don’t accept returns for change of mind, incorrect size, or wrong colour.
What if my item arrives damaged?
We’ve got you.
- Local orders: Contact us within 48 hours
- Print-on-demand orders: Contact us within 30 days.
Send clear photos and we’ll arrange a replacement or refund if approved.
Do I need to return a damaged item?
- Print-on-demand: No need to return it
- Local orders: We’ll guide you depending on the situation
Can I return a product if I’ve used it?
No. Items must be unused and in original packaging (for local returns).

Are your skateboard decks good quality?
Yes. Our decks are made by a reputable factory in the skate industry using North American hard rock maple and built to industry standards.
Do you sell beginner-friendly gear?
Absolutely. Our gear is suitable for beginners through to experienced skaters.
How do your print-on-demand products work?
All our global apparel and merch are made using Printify.
This means:
- Each item is made only after you place an order.
- Production takes a few days before shipping.
- No mass production — less waste, more intention.
What are your digital products?
Our digital products include things like e-books and downloadable content available on our website.
They’re:
- Delivered instantly after purchase.
- Accessible on your device anytime.
💳 Payments
Why are prices shown in USD?
BUTR Skateboarding is an international store, so we display our products and merchandise in US dollars to provide consistent pricing for customers worldwide.
Our store is powered by Shopify, a robust and secure ecommerce platform designed to provide a safe and reliable checkout experience. Our current Shopify setup allows us to process checkout in one base currency, so we have selected USD to best serve our international customer base.
South African customers can still pay securely using Peach Payments or Yoco. Your order total will be converted from USD to South African rand during payment.
What payment methods do you accept in South Africa?
South African customers can pay securely through Peach Payments or Yoco. Available methods may include:
- Visa and Mastercard debit or credit cards
- Apple Pay
- Mobicred
- RCS
The available options will be displayed at checkout. Although our prices are shown in USD, your order total will be converted to South African rand during payment.
What payment methods do you accept internationally?
International orders are processed securely through PayPal. You can pay using:
- Your PayPal balance
- A linked debit or credit card
- A linked bank account
- Other payment methods supported by PayPal in your country
If currency conversion is required, it will be handled by PayPal or your payment provider.
📚 Books & Digital Products
Where do I buy your recipe books?
Our physical and Kindle books are sold via Amazon.
Can I return a book?
That depends on Amazon’s policy:
- Physical books: 30-day return window
- Kindle: 7 days (with restrictions if more than 10% is read)
Do you offer refunds on e-books sold on your website?
No. All digital products purchased directly from BUTR are non-refundable.

No. We never sell your data. We only share what’s necessary with trusted partners (like payment providers and shipping services).
